Sept, 2014: The early morning dawn on the Sustut River brought the first frost I have seen this year. The morning was cool and crisp and the scent of the cottonwood trees turning reminded me of fall during my younger days in Idaho. Today, the river promises to be magical. I am eagerly anticipating a day on the middle beat of the river with our guide, Wes, a native of Ontario, Canada and my fishing partners for the week, Tom and Chris. Here we go…
