Oct, 2013: Pacific Fins Resort is neatly configured with four buildings and a restaurant and bar overlooking the water. Not too small or too large, it is perfect for groups, couples and families. Three buildings have villas set up as two bedrooms separated by a living room with TV. All bedrooms have air conditioning, two queen beds and a bathroom.
A fourth building has two suites perfect for single anglers. The restaurant has a fully stocked bar and dining area that bookend the freshwater pool. The menu is a la carte; guests can choose fresh fish, hamburgers, sandwiches, etc.
The Pacific Fins boats are docked right in front of the resort. With seven slips in full view of your breakfast table, the fleet of 31- to 37-foot boats includes a pair of well-known boats, Maverick and Gypsy, formerly owned by Sailfish Bay Lodge. Both boats are twin 32-foot Blackfins, fully equipped with fly and conventional gear like Penn and Shimano outfits and Cam Sigler fly rods with Abel, Jurascik and Billy Pate reels.
A five-night / four-day all-inclusive package ranges from $5,795 to $7,750 per person, and a four-night / three-day package ranges from $4,595 to $5,950 per person based on double occupancy and shared boat (prices depend on boat size chosen).
