AK Lodges
Looking for only the best Alaska fishing lodges? We work with over two dozen, with personal experience and relationships at each one of them. Let us help you find the right fit.
WILD FISH, WILD PLACES
Alaska is truly one of the last frontiers for purely wild fish. Seasonal prolific runs fill the rivers with large volumes of salmon making their way to their spawning grounds and eager for the fly. The season kicks off in April with wild steelhead fishing in southeast Alaska, followed throughout the summer by various salmon migrations. Wild rainbow trout are available from ice-out, with a double-digit trout a distinct possibility at any date in the season. Arctic char, grayling, and northern pike round out the menu of freshwater opportunities. Saltwater anglers can fish for halibut, rockfish, and salmon from May to September. You can also combine a fishing trip with a tour of Denali, an exclusive Uncruise, or bear photography expedition, just to name a few extension ideas. The Gold Rush state will definitely top the list for a return visit.
